My approach
As an experienced Primary School teacher, I know there's only so much time you can give to each child amongst a class of 30. We wish we could do more and sometimes the school day just isn't enough. On the other hand, life can be busy at home, and as a parent it can be overwhelming not knowing how to support your child in their learning.
With experience teaching in both KS1 and KS2, I can give your child the time they deserve and help them reach their full potential. Children need to be challenged and inspired in order to further their learning, and often need to be stretched outside their comfort zone. Learning can be scary, but I try my best to keep it fun and engaging, so children can improve and achieve without fear.
I have experience teaching children with complex SEND and can suitably adapt content to appropriately support and stretch their learning.
I am open to discussing children who may need support in KS3 and beyond where suitable.
