Bright Buttons is an educational service offering targeted learning support in Chippenham, Wiltshire. We offer tutoring both in small groups and privately and coaching for LAMDA examinations.
Meet the Teacher
Hello and welcome to Bright Buttons! My name is Ella and I'm a fully-qualified and experienced Primary School teacher. I specialise in Upper Key Stage 2, with experience in supporting children through the Year 6 SATs.
Like many in the profession, I have struggled to find balance in a system that places high expectations on both children and staff, while providing so little time and resources to achieve what is possible. In 2025, I made the tough decision to leave my full-time position in order to regain some control in my teaching; I have seen first-hand the difference that can be made when children are given the attention they deserve along with targeted provision to suit their needs.
Qualifications
PGCE Primary 5-11 with Arts Specialism - Bath Spa University
BA Theatre and Performance - University of Leeds
Get to know me
I am half British and half Australian.
My favourite animals are koalas.
I have a miniature labradoodle called Lily.
Alongside teaching, I am a trained Voice Over Artist and perform with a musical theatre society.
I love to travel - my favourite places to visit are Japan, New York and Disney parks.
